DOHA: The Indian Cultural Centre (ICC), in association with Thiruvananthapuram District Residents Association (TRAQ), an associate organisation of the ICC, will celebrate Eid Al Adha on 21 July.
For the first time, ICC this year is marking Eid Al Adha with a live cultural extravaganza titled ‘Eid Ishal Nilavu-2021’.
The event will include programmes such as dance, ‘qawwali’, songs and much more, performed by well-known artistes of Doha, with the support of the live band Music Beats. Since entry to the programme is limited, it will be telecast live on FB pages of TRAQ and the ICC.
To kick-start the celebrations, ICC President P N Baburajan and TRAQ President Rahmathulla released a pamphlet of the cultural event. The function was graced by Subramanya Hebbagelu, Vice-President of ICC; Krishnakumar, General Secretary of ICC; Aneesh George Mathew, MC of the ICC; Gopakumar, General Secretary-TRAQ; Akhila Sudhir, lady rep -TRAQ; and Dileep, MC of TRAQ.
Baburajan wished good luck to all participants of the programme and advised them to abide by the Covid-19 preventive measures set forth by Qatar government.
Rahmathulla proposed the vote of thanks and requested wholehearted support from the community for the celebrations. Sudhir hosted the event.
