DOHA: MES Alumni Association, under the aegis of MES Indian School, held its annual general meeting on 4 July, where newly appointed executive committee members were welcomed.
Former President Ziad Usman expressed his confidence in the new executive committee and emphasised the importance of team spirit amongst its members and the body in general.
The meeting focused on the main strategies to enhance mutual support and interaction between the association, the school and its graduates.
In the past, the association had successfully conducted various events such as batch reunions, sports tournaments and charitable activities bringing together graduates with common interests and engaging them in meaningful programmes to give back to the community.

The new office-bearers for 2021-23 are as follows: Shaheen Shafi (President), Fazil Hameed (Vice-President), Akbar Ali (General Secretary), Nihad Ali (Treasurer), and Muksith Thangal, Sajid Mahamood Ettol, Samra Mahboob and Sunil Kulangara as joint secretaries.
