DOHA: Solace, a voluntary charitable organisation, is conducting a fundraising campaign, ‘Together We Can Make a Difference’, in association with Allen’s Tallentex Overseas Exam, which is exclusively for Grade 5-10 students in Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, Kuwait, Nepal, Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
Sixty per cent of the 500 rupees registration fee from each child participating in this exam will be donated to Solace.
Solace is a voluntary organiation registered as a Trust under the Charitable Societies Act of Kerala, India.
Its mission is to care for children with long-term illnesses and stand by their families and comfort them as they face the harsh realities of life.
Solace ensures that the essential medical treatment is made available to every child and they have the best possible chance to recover and go on to lead a normal life.
More than 3,000 children suffering from long-term illnesses are being taken care of by Solace, the organisation said in a release.
Tallentex is an online talent encouragement exam conducted by Allen for children to understand the new test patterns and to get insights into their strengths and areas of improvement.

The registration closes on 25 October and the registration fee is 500 rupees.
The date of the online exam is 30 October, 2021.
