NEW YORK: Qatar and the International Peace Institute (IPI) signed a partnership agreement at the headquarters of the permanent mission of Qatar to the UN in New York.
The agreement was signed on behalf of Qatar Permanent Representative of Qatar to the UN Sheikha Alya Ahmed bin Saif Al Thani, while IPI President and CEO Prince Zeid bin Ra’ad Al Hussein signed the agreement on behalf of the institute.
IPI is an independent, international not-for-profit think tank, located in New York. It is dedicated to managing risk and building resilience to promote peace, security and sustainable development.
Founded in 1970, the Institute has important contributions to multilateral efforts to prevent and resolve armed conflicts around the world and has activities in Africa, the Middle East, Europe and Central Asia.
